Starting costs of some programs are lower at NUS, but NTU offers the more affordable education across most courses. Living costs too are lower for students at NTU Singapore. However, NUS may offer better housing facilities. Mentioned below is how both universities compare:

No, NTU Uni Singapore does not allow Indian students to pay their tuition fees in installments. All students have to pay their semester tuition fees in full.
MOE Tuition Grants or a Tuition Fee Loan are good options to make studies more affordable.

Yes, Indian students enrolled in full-time degree courses at Nanyang Technological Uni can pursue part of their studies abroad. The university offers several semester exchange and summer exchange programs to Indian students. Some popular ones include Global Connect and REP. All full-time students at NTU can apply for study abroad programs.

The Renaissance Engineering Program (REP) at NTU Singapore is a 4.5 year integrated dual-degree program. It combines the curriculum of BE in Engineering Science and MS in Technology Management.
It is a great choice for Indian students interested in an Engineering degree that also teaches Financial Management, Entrepreneurship & Corportate Governance. Students also get the chance to spend 1 year of their study at universities like UC Berkeley & Imperial College London.

According to Payscale, avg salary for MS in Singapore is SGD 73K or INR 52.79L for one year. Avg salary for males is b/w SGD 42K - SGD 1.76L (INR 30.37 L - INR 1.27 Cr). While for females, avg salary after doing MS in Singapore is b/w SGD 40K - SGD 1.10L annually. This shows this course is good for Indian students.

SMU Singapore MBA course is 15-months long course. The tuition fee for SMU MBA is SGD 82,840 (Around INR 59 lakh). Working experience is also required for admission to this course. Indian students at top universities in Singapore are allowed to work part time. Limit is up to 16 hours per week during term time. Unlimited hours during semester breaks. This is only applicable to students holding a valid Student Pass.
