The separate cutoffs for NITs will be released by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) through online mode. All the eligible candidates can check NITs cutoff for B.Tech Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the tables given in the article. Hello Varshitha, once you get admission in NIT, it would be tough to change the branch next year because in almost all the cases there would be no vacancy. However if in your NIT vacancy exist in the second year under this branch then you can definitely seek transfer to that branch. Best wishes to you.
