The complete cost is INR 4,50,000 for the whole course. This amount is split into two parts of INR 2,25,000 each. You'll need to pay the first part when you get admitted, and the second part in the second year.
For students who are from Sikkim, there's a 50% discount. So, the total fee for them is INR 2,25,000.

Yes, SMIT Sikkim is a private institute.
SMIT College is ranked 22 as the Best Engineering Private College by India Today 2022 under the Overall category. Manipal Institute of Technology Sikkim is accredited by NBA and is approved by UGC and AICTE. The college is ISO certified. Total fees depends on your choice of course. If you take B.Tech in Computer Science then fees will be around 3.2lakh for 4 years and same for lateral entry students. If you are from other branch then your fees will be in between 2.6 -2.7 Lacs rupees for 4 years.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology offers seats for all the courses that can be secured only by qualifying in the entrance test/examination by merit. There is some eligibility criteria fixed for applying to SMU, like aggregate marks of 50% in 12th standard. They don't have a management quota, reservation quota, donation quota or payment seats.
