Special education teachers may work in a public or private special school either with groups of students or on an individual basis. There are many rehabilitation centers where one can find employment. Hi Arvind,
For applying to M.Ed in special visual impairment candidate must have completed B.Ed Special Education (Visual Impairment) course with a minimum of 50% from any of the recognized institution of RCI. Admission shall be done through post-graduate entrance test merit list for M.Ed (special).

For pursuing Diploma in special education you need to have 50% in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Special Education teachers work quite differently from normal teachers. Special Education teachers give education to the students with mild or moderate disabilities and this becomes a responsibility for teachers to stand them on their own. They have to take care of each student personally and they try to find the field in which they are interested. They try to communicate with them so that they can know the feelings of these students. These students are not treated as normal students.
Teachers have to develop basis lessons of life, without interacting much with these students. So the teachers have to know how they react to the question
