For SSC, you can refer Lucent for GK and RS Agrawal for reasoning and mathematics. They are the best books.

This all depends on your interest as both are different fields. If you want to go into management field then go for CAT, but if your choice is administration then go for UPSC CSE.

SSC CPO is an exam for recruiting central police organization staff. Section Wise SSC CPO Exam Analysis
SSC CPO Tier I exam consists of four sections namely, General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness. The quantitative aptitude section was of an easy to moderate level.
