The SSC releases the admit card roughly two weeks before the exam. This card will contain all important exam details, including your allocated exam centre, exam date and time, and roll number. You won't be able to find out your SSC GD exam centre through the application status or any other means before the admit card is issued.

March 30, 2024 is been aside for the SSC GD re-exam in 2024. The only applicants who may reapply are those who took part in the last SSC GD Constable exam. The first dates of the SSC GD 2024 test were February 20–March 7, 2024. Technical problems at certain centers require a re-examination of the SSC GD 2024. After a careful analysis of the SSC GD 2024 exam, the Commission has chosen to re-examine candidates who showed up at specific times and locations. Technical difficulties have caused the SSC GD Constable exam 2024 to be rescheduled for some exam centers, although it has not been cancelled.

The computer-based exam for SSC GD Constable was held earlier in the year, possibly between February and March 2024, considering the admit card is typically released a week before the exam.
However, there was a re-examination for SSC GD Constable for some candidates in March 2024. The admit card for this re-examination might have been released around the end of March 2024 on the regional websites of SSCs.

Yes, an SSC GD constable has opportunities for promotion based on performance and tenure in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) departments. There are two main paths for advancement:
- Time-bound promotions: After a certain service period, you can be promoted to higher ranks like Senior Constable and Head Constable.
- Departmental exams: You can appear for departmental exams like the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) to get promotions faster.
Here's a typical promotional ladder for an SSC GD constable:
- Constable
- Senior Constable
- Head Constable
- Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI)
