The SSC GD exam pattern and syllabus was changed in the year 2022. The exam pattern for the SSC GD exam, including the time duration and number of questions, was changed by the Commission. However each year the syllabus will be notified officially. The SSC GD Constable exam comprises a total of 80 objective-type MCQs of two marks each. The SSC GD 2025 syllabus includes General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. To prepare for the SSC GD Constable exam, candidates need to know the SSC GD exam pattern and syllabus.

The SSC GD Constable application fee for 2025 is INR 100. However, the SSC GD exam fee is exempted for women, SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen. A candidate is required to pay Rs. 100/- (General and OBC) while filling out the application form for SSC GD 2024-25 whereas SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Females are exempted from the application fee. While women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

The last date to submit the SSC GD application form is October 14, while the deadline for paying the application fee is October 15. The online application correction window will be available from November 5 to 7, 2024.

The age limit for applying in SSC GD (Staff Selection Commission General Duty) Constable Exam commonly is *18 years*. 
 
 If the application process is in *August* and you are turning *18 in October* you will *not be allowed* to apply unless you are already 18 at the time of the application. The SSC expect a candidate to be at least 18 years old as of the cutover date stated on the notice that we release for a given year for the respective examination.

The SSC GD exam is generally considered to be easy to moderate in difficulty level. A large number of candidates apply for the SSC GD exam which makes competition high. However, the syllabus covers general knowledge, basic mathematics, English/Hindi language comprehension, and reasoning abilitiesa and consists of Multiple Choice Questions. The questions test fundamental concepts and understanding, not in-depth knowledge of any particular subject.

Visit the SSC website. Look for a section mentioning "Answer Keys" or "Examination Results." Navigate through such sections to see if you can find the answer key notification for SSC GD 2024. If you find the notification, it might contain a download link for the answer key.

In the SSC GD PET/ PST exam, candidates need to complete the race within the given running time. The SSC GD running time for males is 5 km in 24 minutes, and for females is 1.6 km in 8 ½ minutes. However, for Ladakh-based candidates, the SSC GD physical running time is 1.6 km in 7 minutes for males and 800 metres in 5 minutes for females. 

For candidates other than those belonging to Ladakh Region.
