There is nothing called pass or fail in the IELTS exam. The IELTS 6.5 score represents the English fluency of the candidates.

There is no set format. Candidates who have prior experience with exams would require lesser time than people who are new to the exam. Candidates are advised to be fully prepared before taking the PTE exam as no second chance will be provided. If a test taker doesn't receive their expected scores then they will have to book the PTE exam all over again along with repaying the exam fee to improve their score in the next attempt.
