Students who are pursuing their studies at California State University Fullerton are eligible to apply for on-campus placement positions offered by the university. These opportunities allow students to choose their work environment as per their preference and capabilities or even engage in work that offers them with academic experience. Through such on-campus job placements, students can gain knowledge about workplace culture, punctuality, effective communication, teamwork, customer service skills as well as practical experience. Some types of student employment opportunities include-

Teaching Associates- Students who work as teaching associates engage in teaching university courses and even assist the campus faculty with professional and technical activities. The work is inclined more toward their programme of study and academic department.

Graduate Assistant- Graduate Assistants at the university offer professional non-teaching assistance to faculty members of the university. They offer assistance to the teaching staff with professional and technical duties.

Instructional Student Assistants- The instructional student assistant perform duties that involve grading, teaching work, and tutoring.

Student Assistants- Student assistants perform both skilled and unskilled work in a variety of positions that requires manual, clerical, analytical skills, and public contact.

There are certain requirements at Algonquin College that international students must fulfill. The admission requirements can vary from one programme to another. Moreover, the Algonquin College Canada admission requirements for international students are as follows:

Bachelor programs

Applicant must submit ONE of the following certificates with a minimum mark as per AC programme core subject and grade requirements:

·       Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC); OR

·       India Senior School Certificate; OR

·       Pre-University Examination Certificate; OR

·       Intermediate Examination Certificate.

·       English Proficiency requirement which is an overall score of 6.5 in IELTS Academic; and

·       Copy of Passport.

Post Graduate Certificate program

Applicant must submit ONE of the following:

·       Bachelor's Degree with a cumulative GPA of 55% or higher and university transcripts, with 10 or fewer retakes for a 3 or 4-year bachelor. There can be no more than 3 retakes for any one subject; OR

·       Diploma or Provisional Certificate for proof of graduation.

·       English Language Proficiency requirement is an overall score of 6.5 in IELTS Academic;

·       Grade Conversion Certificate; and

·       Copy of Passport.
