The intent of SOP for MBA vs MS is very different. An MS SOP is created with the intent to present you as a valuable addition to the program. Hence, it emphasizes on your technical background, educational qualifications, and professional experience. On the other hand, the SOP for an MBA programme should highlight their managerial aptitude, leadership experience, and aspirations, since the applicant should emerge as a good prospective leader. The MBA SOP would also be less technical in nature and be more oriented towards your management aptitude.

There are two sub sections in GRE Quantitative Reasoning sections, and you will have 47 minutes to solve 27 questions. It's important to manage your time well, pacing yourself so you have a chance to attempt every question and save a couple of minutes to review your flagged items.

Data Interpretation, Probability, and Combinatorics (permutations and combinations) are some of the challenging topics for GRE test takers. Other than this, word problems such as work/rate or ratio questions and coordinate geometry questions can also be tough.

Focusing on regular practice on these topics and reviewing their concepts can help boost your overall Quant score.

Yes, you are allowed to use a calculator for the GRE Quant section during exam. The calculator will appear on the test screen (No additional calculator). You cannot bring your own calculator to the exam center or use a physical calculator. The on-screen calculator includes basic functions, which will help you avoid calculation mistakes.

The Harvard University does not prefer one test over the other; the university accepts either the SAT or the ACT. The university also encourages applicants to submit the test that best highlights their academic strengths.

MIT generally seeks ACT scores in the range of 34-36 for international admissions. However, there's no official minimum score requirement described by the university.

While an ACT score of 30 is excellent, Harvard University's admitted student average is typically much higher, often in the 33-35 range. A 30 might not be competitive enough on its own for Harvard, but strong academics and extracurriculars could help.
