Pre-professional Architecture programs are those whose curriculum is designed to meet accreditation requirements established and cyclically reviewed by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) or foreign equivalent.

The eligibility criteria for PG admission at the University of Birmingham are given below:
- A four-year Bachelor’s degree (first-class or very good upper second-class) or a three-year Bachelor’s degree (first class) from recognised institutions in India
- For postgraduate research programs, students need a Bachelor’s degree and usually a Master’s degree with a 60% or higher for 2:1 equivalency from a recognised institution
- Programme-specific score requirements
- Alternatively, grade 12 Indian students must have achieved a score of 75% or above for CBSE/CISCE/West Bengal boards; other state boards: 80% or above
