Tulane University offers variety of generous need-based as well as merit-based scholarship opportunities for international students. At Tulane, all applicants are considered for partial merit scholarship by completing the Common Application for admission. The University also offers up to $25,000 in need-based financial aid to international students who qualify and who have not already been awarded that amount or more in merit scholarships. Students must reapply for need based aid every year. In order to apply, students must follow the steps listed below:

1. Complete the Common Application for admission;
2. Complete the CSS Profile by within the deadlines;
3. Complete Tulane's Declaration & Certification of Finances;
4. Submit supporting documentation when requested by Tulane's Office of Financial Aid; and
5. Complete the Tulane Scholarship Application, audition, or portfolio as per specified deadline

1) Global Scholarship:

The Global Scholarship is a partial or full-tuition award that is renewable for 4 years (5 years for students in the 5-year Architecture program). Recipients of this award are international students with outstanding academic records.

• Applicants in the top 20% academically (based on testing and GPA) of the applicant pool are eligible to be considered for the scholarship; and
• It is advisable for students to submit a complete Early Action (November 15) or Early Decision  (November 1) application for admission.

2) South Asian Scholar Award:

South Asian Scholarship is a partial or full-tuition award that is renewable for 4 years (5 years for students in the 5-year Architecture program). Recipients of this award are students graduating from high schools in South Asia with outstanding academic records.

Note: Tulane University also offers up to $25,000 in need-based financial aid to international students who qualify and who have not already been awarded that amount or more in merit scholarships. Based on the data collected from US News & World Report University Rankings, Tulane University admissions has an acceptance rate of 11% and an early acceptance rate of 11.9%. This data tells us that only 11 out of every 100 applicants manage to secure an admission in Tulane during regular decision. Whereas, about 11-12 students get enrolled in the same when applied through early decision applications. Hence, securing admission in Tulane University is a very competitive affair.
