There is no application fee for students if they apply through the university's official portal. However, if they opt to apply through the common application, then they must pay an amount of USD 50 (might vary; would suggest students to check before applying). For Postgraduate courses the application fee is USD55 however the application fee might be different depending on the course.

Below are the requirements of Undergraduates the University of Michigan:
Official Transcripts: Applicants must submit their high school/secondary school transcripts to UM-Flint. Applicants must include an official translation if they’re not in English. A Study Permit is the student visa required for international students looking to enroll for a full-time programme in Canada. The Canada student visa costs CAD 150. You will need the following to apply for a Canadian Study Permit.
- Admission letter from a DLI.
- A Valid Passport.
- Results from a medical examination and police verification.
- Two passport-sized photos of yourself.
