As per the QS rankings 2026, the University of Mannheim is ranked well in the world. It's ranking is standing at #416 (world university category) in the year 2026.
The rankings have improved a lot from what they were last year at #487. The University of Mannheim courses like -

The US News ranks the University of Mannheim at a really good ranking, as per the same, in the Global Universities ranking category, this institution of higher studies ranks #785.
These rankings are declining with each passing year for three years now. In the year 2024, it ranked at #779.

Yes, Indian students can change their course at Mannheim Uni (usually within the first 2 semesters). Students will need to meet the entry requirements for their new course. To know more, contact the Student Advising Center at the Uni of Mannheim.

Indian students can pay the Mannheim Uni fees via international bank transfers (SWIFT), or authorized third-party platforms like Flywire, Wise, or Western Union.
Credit cards are also accepted, however, these incur high fees. Contact one of the Shiksha Study Abroad counsellors to know when and how to pay the fees.

Yes, Indian students get transfer to Mannheim Uni. For that, they'll need to apply to an advanced semester. The university will assess students based on performance in previous coursework and exams.
To apply for an advanced semester, students can use the University of Mannheim online portal.
