Candidates who have passed or will be passing Class 12 are eligible to appear for the NPAT exam. NPAT exam is conducted for admission to BA, BBA, BCom, and BSc courses offered by different campuses of NMIMS. Candidates are selected for admission based on NPAT exam scores.

Sunandan Divatia School of Science (SDSOS) is one of the private institutes affiliated with NMIMS University . NMIMS is ranked 47 out of 200 Deemed to be universities by the NIRF, placing it fourth in Mumbai. SDSOS Mumbai offers undergraduate, graduate, and PhD programs in the field of Science and is an NAAC B-accredited institute. In 2023, the placement rate will be about 60%, which is good.

Sunandan Divatia School of Science (SDSOS) comes under the umbrella of NMIMS (Deemed to be University). SDSOS Mumbai offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of science. The school emphasis research in all of the programs with innovative ideas. Admission to the courses is done either on the basis of merit of entrance test conducted at the university level. The school has highly qualified faculty members with rich experience in their respective fields.

In the final i.e. 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. In recent times Deloitte has selected around 15 students at an annual salary of 4 Lakhs. The 2nd company Equity has hired only 3 students at an annual salary of 8 Lakhs. But the placement cell will improve over time. Around 70- 80% of the students got placements who have applied in the placement cells.

The college offers one of the best placement opportunities to the students through the on-campus recruitment interviews. For the freshers college also encourages them to get internships so that they have on field experience in their hands as an advantage.
