Yes, Sweden is very expensive compared to India. Things like rent, food, restaurants, and bus or train cost more. For Indian students, money is less because of currency. But if you plan money, share house, and use student discounts, you can live okay in Sweden.

International students can work a maximum of 20 hours per week in Sweden, during the studies and full-time during vacations, as is generally the norm for most European countries. For students pursuing a course with a duration of more than 3 months, a residence permit is mandatory to work in Sweden.

Students must ensure that their work does not interfere with their studies.

Students found crossing the maximum work hour limits would be detained and may get their Sweden student visa, revoked.

Yes, honestly Sweden is expensive if you compare with India, especially for rent and food. You must have 10,584 SEK per month (approx ₹1 Lakh) just for living expenses and Tuition fees is around 12-14 Lakhs INR per year. But still, the total cost of education is lesser than USA or UK because you get free health benefits later.
