Sweden is better for students in IT, and those who prefer English-friendly workplaces. Germany is better for engineering students who do not mind learning German and want lower tuition fees at public universities.

Yes, especially in IT, research, and many engineering roles. However, learning Swedish improves your chances significantly in most other sectors, particularly healthcare and finance.

The Uppsala Uni offers guaranteed housing to all fee-paying students, including Indians. This guarantee applies as long as a student accepts their admission offer on time.

The Uppsala University Housing Office provides students with a dormitory room. The guarantee also applies to students on scholarship at Uppsala Uni.

Students looking to live off-campus can find rooms by checking local housing platforms or contacting the university's housing office.

The Internship and Part-time job market scene is very competitive for Indian students in Sweden, per the Uppsala University student reviews on Shiksha Study Abroad. Locals give preference to students with good Swedish speaking skills.

Checking company websites, contacting recruitment firms, and using referrals from friends are some of the best ways to find-part time work.
