Yes, IMU Chennai does offer female scholarships to BBA students. Basically, In order to encourage and motivate girl cadets to join the maritime career, deserving girl students are being given scholarships by the industry. fee concession for girl students is under consideration by the Government of India.

Yes, IMU Chennai does offer scholarships to BTech students on various grounds, such as academic merit, to the meritorious students with the aim of motivating them to keep achieving remarkably every semester. The scheme is based on the academic performance of the students in their immediate previous semester examination. Moreover, the campus also offers scholarships to women cadets, economically weak students, and state/ government aided scholarships.

The IMU CET syllabus for admission to BTech at IMU Chennai includes the multiple-choice questions that are based on the subjects candidates have studied in their Class 12- Physics, Chemistry anf Mathematics. Moreover, the number of questions asked in the entrance exam is 200 multiple-choice questions. The total seat intake for the BTech course at IMU Chennai is 80. All these seats are offered in one specialisation i.e., Marine Engineering. To get a seat in this programme, canddiates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the IMU CET exam.

The number of lists for admission to IMU Chennai's BTech programme is based on the number of seats offered. The third list might not be made public if there are no seats left after the second list. After the third, additional lists may be released at the Competent Authority's discretion and based on seat availability. The lists can be made public via the current online counselling system.
