Yes, IMU Chennai does offer scholarships to BBA students on various grounds, such as academic merit, to the meritorious students with the aim of motivating them to keep achieving remarkably every semester. The scheme is based on the academic performance of the students in their immediate previous semester examination. Moreover, the campus also offers scholarships to women cadets, economically weak students, and state/ government aided scholarships.

According to the reviews of the students and alumni of BBA graduates from IMU Chennai, there are several companies that place BBA in Logistics, Retailing and E-Commerce. The names of the companies are- Capgemini, Cogoport, CMA with CGM, Maersk Line, MSC, Suumaya Trans Logistics Limited, Kuehne+Nagel, etc.

The number of lists for admission to IMU Chennai's BBA programme is based on the number of seats offered. The third list might not be made public if there are no seats left after the second list. After the third, additional lists may be released at the Competent Authority's discretion and based on seat availability. The lists can be made public via the current online counselling system.

The total seat intake for the BBA course at IMU Chennai is 60. All these seats are offered in one specialisation i.e., Logistics, Retailing and E-Commerce. To get a seat in this programme, canddiates  must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the CUET scores/ Class 12 scores for merit.

The online application form for the BBA course at IMU Chennai consists of completing five steps, namely basic details, personal details, academic details, document upload, and online payment. Candidate has to complete all these steps. Once the online payment is successful candidates [ dashboards will appear, from which they can download the filled-in application for reference and record.

According to the information available on the recent prospectus of IMU Chennai, the date of commencement of online registration of application for the BBA course was started on March 1, 2025. Currently, the admissions for the BBA course have been closed. Moreover, the classes for the BBA course are going to be start from August 1, 2025.

The primary eligibility requirements for admission to BBA courses at IMU Chennai are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% and  50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, the campus requires several other requirements for admission to the BBA course. Check those factors:

  • Age Limit: For males—General: 25 years, OBC (NCL): 28 years, SC/ST: 30 years; For females – General: 27 years, OBC (NCL): 30 years, SC/ST: 32 years (from the commencement of the academic session).
