As per the NIRF report 2023, out of 156 MSc graduates 93 were placed during 2022 placements. Earlier 105 out of 191 MSc students were placed during 2021 placements. Looking at the past three years' statistics (2020 to 2022), a declining trend was noticed in the number of MSc students placed. A fluctuating trend was observed in the placement rate of UG (3-year) and MSc courses from 2020 to 2022 drives. The college has disclosed the 2022 placement details for UG (3-year) and MSc courses in the NIRF report 2023. As per the report, during 2022 placements, 451 UG (3-year) students were placed out of the 740 graduates. In MSc, 93 out of 156 students were placed. IIM Trichy accepts the CAT results for admission to the MBA/PGDM programme. Students would need to clear the final CAT cutoff to be eligible to take part in the admission process that involves WAT, PI and GD. 

The CAT cutoff is not released publicly and is only available to students who have appeared in the exam via login. Hence, as per estimated data, IIT Trichy cutoff 2025 for the General AI category was 94 (both overall and sectional).
