Hi,
For lecturer: Post-graduate degree with minimum 55% marks in the discipline relevant to the area of specialization. (ii)Post-graduate degree in Education (M. Ed. /M.A. Education and B.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks. You have to qualify UGC NET also. Thanks.

Hi,
Candidates having Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanity/Commerce with minimum 50% marks will be eligible.
Those who have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Mathematics and Science with at least 55% marks or any equivalent qualification will also be eligible.
The following categories students will be eligible in respect of B.Ed (ODL):
-Candidates who have completed teacher education programme through face to face mode recognized by NCTE.
So, you can apply for B.Ed.

I would suggest you to go for a higher degree and take Maths as a subject. It makes no sense to go for a UG degree again.

To become a lecturer in a college, you have to complete post graduation in the subject you want to become a Lecturer. To become a lecturer, you have to apply, appear and crack NET (National Eligibility Test) examination conducted by UGC two time a year for selection of Lecturer and award to Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed post graduation with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidate) from a recognized university. There is no upper age limit for those applying for lectureship. For more information, you may log on to:

* The candidate must have completed his/her Bachelor's degree in any stream.
* He/She must have a B.Ed degree.
* The candidate should have secured at least 60% of marks. * The candidate must have to pass the eligibility test.

Hi,
Andhra University distance B.Ed course is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha conducts Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test OTET in order to select candidates for the appointment of teacher for Classes I to VIII in government, private aided, and private unaided schools of Odisha. It may be noted that clearing OTET exam does not guarantee employment of a candidate in a school. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment, states the official website.

The candidate should have a Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university with 50% Marks and Bachelor of Education B.Ed or B.A. B.Ed /B. Sc B. Ed from any institution recognized by NCTE with the subject concerned as a methodology subject. The candidate who qualified through Open University/ Distance Education is required to have recognition by the University Grants Commission, Distance Education Council (DEC), All India Council for Technical Education.
