MCom is still a qualification for teaching BCom in some states. Distance Education is not a problem, but one has to cultivate himself for a teaching job carefully, by developing his awareness and personality.

Tanya for being a teacher at school level it is essential that you do B.Ed. However, after you finish your post graduation I would suggest that you prepare and appear for UGC NET exam so that you can plan to make a career as a Lecturer / Professor in colleges.

Hi Ritika,
Hi, it is not clear whether you want to become a French teacher in school or college/university. In case you want to teach in a school then a masters degree in French or equivalent will be required. However if you are interested to work as lecturer in a college or university, then a Ph.D in the same will be required. Some private colleges may be ready to entertain for recruitment even if you have a masters.
All the Best!
