First, you can improve your language. You can learn to speak fluently, in good language. You can learn English, even it is not necessary. You practice speaking loudly, so as to reach the entire class. Be punctual to the class and don't waste your time on unnecessary issues. Study your subject thoroughly and go to class, fully prepared. Dress well and maintain neatness. Clean your shoes, before going to class, as students watch everything.

No. You need to be post graduate for becoming assistant professor and must clear UGC- NET. For Professor, you need a PhD too.
