Hi,
1. If you wish to be a lecturer, then I would advice you to go for a regular masters degree in a relevant discipline and clear U.G.C NET conducted mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.
2. Else if you aim at being a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+

(b) Having studied at least two subjects at the bachelor's degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects

Dear steve . Mr narendran explained nicely.In short first take admission in B Sc(PCM) , then M.Sc (Physics)there after clear NET conducted by UGC. You can do Ph.D. There after a bright future will welcome you.good luck
