So the validity of UGC/CBSE NET is unlimited or there is no expiration date. UGC JRF is valid for 2 years from the announcement date of the result or from the issue date of the certificate and UGC lectureship is valid for lifetime up to the date of your retirement age.

As per the recent notification, the National Testing Agency will conduct the forthcoming UGC NET 2018. The NTA will conduct the exam twice a year and in fully online mode.

Hello Ajeet,
There are some eligibility criteria that you need to follow in order to appear for UGC NET examination. The candidates can apply for the subject in which they have completed their post graduation degree. Thus you can not apply for the Geography subject. To appear for NET JRF exam, you should have at least 55% aggregate marks in post graduation course. SC/ST/PwD/female candidates get 5% relaxation in aggregate marks by the CSIR NET authority.
