The UGC NET exam for the December session was conducted from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026. The dates were released by the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card was also released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. 

Authority is expected to revise UGC NET syllabus as per NEP 2020. The notification has not been released for 2026 yet. It will be updated on the official website. Syllabus of UGC NET is divided into two sections: Paper 1 and Paper 2. UGC NET Paper 1 syllabus is common for all candidates who are going to take UGC NET. However,  UGC NET Paper 2 syllabus varies for different subjects. Paper 2 carries subject-specific questions in which candidates specialise.

Currently, there are no available colleges integrated with both  B.Sc + B.Ed programs available in Hoshangabad, but such programs are offered by other institutions in Bhopal. B.Sc + B.Ed programs are available at Ayushmati College of Education in Bhopal. Furtherly, the Hoshangabad offers distinct level educational institutions for B.Sc and B.Ed.

The educational costs at District Institute of Education and Training, Ratnagiri for the Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) remain reasonable. The total education fee for the academic year at District Institute of Education and Training amounts to INR 12,000 also requiring INR 1,500 for admission costs and miscellaneous expenses. The 150 mark cutoff for B.Ed. in English at EFLU Hyderabad represents the current standard for students from the General category according to the CUET PG 2024 cutoff . The admission criteria stand as one of the more competitive standards because CUET PG establishes a cutoff range from 150 to 210. The current cutoff scores for English-related programs at EFLU Hyderabad include MA English Literature with a mark of 159 combined with MA English Language Teaching demanding 154 results and MA English requiring 150 scores.
