No.M.A and M.Ed are two different courses. At first complete Your B.Ed degree without which you can't apply on teaching jobs. After completing B.Ed you can complete Your M.A or M.Ed degree. According to my view there is no need of M.Ed degree to get a teaching job but M.A is important.it has an academic background.

Majority of universities do not allow simultaneous study in two degree courses. You may look at rules & regulations of universities in which you are planning to do both the degrees. Beware that in order to do two degrees simultaneously, you may spoil learning and grades in both the degrees!

If you want to teach engineering students you must plan education upto Ph.D for career as a teacher. However, if you plan to teach in school B.Ed will prepare you for both Government & Private school teacher's job. With B.Tech Mechanical Engineering you can teach in an ITI and Polytechnics also. If you are excellent in any of PCM subjects you can join any JEE coaching school as a subject expert teacher.

As per my knowledge, it is just the nomenclature changes. However, if both two types are available in the same University or college than it is advisable to consult the institution.
