In the 1-year programme of the Bachelor of Library and Information Science, you'll learn about Library management, administration, cataloging, IT in libraries, etc. These are the core subjects that you'll learn in-depth. In the last semester, you'll also get hands-on experience in library operations via internships and industrial visits.

This course has been discontinued as per July 2025. Hence you cannot apply for it .

If you are passionate about this course you can try pursuing it in other universities.for example Rabindra Bharati university, Jadavpur University.

If you already have a B.LIB.I.Sc Kalyani university still offers masters.Admission requires entrance exam and its merit based too.
