The CTET exam is administered in two sessions. 9.30 am to 12:00 noon is shift 1; 2.30 pm to 5:00 pm is shift 2. Every shift lasts for two hours and thirty minutes. Every CTET exam day, there are two shifts for the exam. Applicants taking the CTET exam must show up at the designated testing location during the designated shift.

On October 27, 2023, the UGC NET application deadlines were extended. Candidates have until October 31, 2023, to submit an application for the UGC NET exam. Candidates requested an extension of the application deadline because they were unable to complete the form for the UGC NET December cycle exam because of technical issues with the official website. But even after October 31, a lot of applicants continued to ask for an extension of the application period since they were still having technological difficulties and couldn't complete the form. However, the application period concluded on October 31, 2023, and it was not reopened.

APTET exam qualification does not ensure employment. It is merely one of the requirements for eligibility in the hiring process for teachers. Candidates will be able to apply for the recruitment exams once they have passed the exam. Candidates who pass the APTET recruitment exam will be hired as primary or upper primary teachers at APTET institutions.

The basic pay of a CTET-qualified Trained Graduate Teacher in India varies depends on the pay scale followed by the employer. CTET-qualified TGT teachers typically fall under the same pay scale as primary teachers with a grade pay of INR 4,600. Based on the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, the basic salary for a TGT teacher with this pay scale would be in the range of INR 17,140 to Rs. 34,800.

Unfortunately, there is currently no provision for revaluation or rechecking of the CTET result. You need to know that once the results are declared by the CBSE, they are considered final. The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts CTET and hence, clearly states that there's no chance of re-evaluation or rechecking after the results are announced. However, To ensure transparency, CBSE releases the answer keys for both papers after the exam. This allows candidates to verify their answers and understand their performance.
However, If you're unhappy with your CTET score, you'll have to wait and reappear for the exam

At the UG level, State College of Teacher Education provides a 2 years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course to the students. This course offers admission to 50 students.
