Q:   Can I change my IGNOU TEE exam centre?
A:

The IGNOU TEE exam centre allotted by the University on the hall ticket cannot be changed. IGNOU does not entertain any request for change of exam centre through any means such as e-mail, letter or personally.

Today the minimum eligibility criteria is graduation (10+2+3). The duration of the course has also been extended, earlier it was 2 years, but now it is 4 years. Today the BEd degree has become a mandatory requirement for teaching at the secondary (classes 6 to 10) and higher secondary (10+2 or classes 11 and 12) levels in India. BEd is followed by M.Ed for those students who want to pursue higher education.

What is distance learning?

Before moving further into Distance BEd vs Regular BEd, it becomes imperative to understand what they are. Distance learning refers to remote studying which is completing a course or program without appearing in the college or institute in person. During distance courses, students don't have to appear for the classes, they can take the classes sitting in the comfort of their homes through laptops and smartphones. Many distance learning course providers don’t even provide online classes, they just provide the study materials and students have to read it on their own and appear for the exam as per the designated dates.

In distance learning, students are generally called 3 times during their whole course, first during the time of admission, second during the examination, and third during felicitation. Distance learning courses are often cost-effective as compared to regular courses and these courses are often opted for by students who are either in a full-time job or who can't afford the fees of regular courses or those who couldn't qualify for the entrance examination of their desired college but have to complete their higher education.
