To be eligible for teaching positions, candidates must pass the two papers of the CTET test with a minimum qualifying score. The CTET passing marks for General category candidates are 90 and for SC/ ST/ OBC are 82. Candidates who obtain more than 100 marks in the CTET exam are considered as good scorers. So, 120 is a good CTET score. The CTET exam carries a total 150 marks.

There is no restriction on how many times a candidate may take the CTET exam in terms of tries. As long as they meet the eligibility requirements established by the CBSE, candidates are free to retake the exam as often as necessary until they pass it. The July 2024 exam process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is being administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). In order to take the exam, candidates had to complete the CTET registration process by 2024. Applications are only accepted by the CBSE from individuals who meet the CTET qualifying requirements for 2024. In 2024, candidates had to review the comprehensive eligibility requirements before completing the CTET application form.

Admissions to B.Ed at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University are open. To be eligible for B.Ed one must have graduated from a recognised university with a minimum of 50%. 

The admission process for B.Ed is:

1. First you need to appear in the UP B.Ed JEE exam. Score as high as possible.
2. Then you need to apply for the university.
3. Then UP B.Ed JEE counselling will be started, seats will be allocated to students according to their performace in entrance exam and graduation.
4. After the seat is assigned, candidates need to pay the tuition of the college and start the session.
