What is CTET 2023 Exam
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is abbreviated as CTET. It is an eligibility test conducted by the CBSE every year to determine the eligibility of Classes 1to 8 teachers. We can say that CTET determines the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in the Central Government School, including KVS, NVS, etc. CTET 2022 23 is the 16th edition exam, which will be held either in December 2022 or January 2023 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The CTET 2022-23 exam will be held in several shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET validity has been extended for a lifetime period. What is CTET 2023 Paper 1 and Paper 2
Candidates who want to teach from Classes 1-5 (Primary Teachers) appear for CTET Paper 1 and those who want to teach Classes 6-8 (Elementary Teachers) appear for CTET Paper 2. Candidates who wish to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both papers. CTET 2023 Notification
The CTET notification will be announced by the CBSE on its official website. The CTET 2022 23 notification was issued on October 20, 2022. The detailed notification in the form of an information bulletin will be uploaded after a few days of the release of the notification. CTET 2023 Exam Pattern
The CTET 2023 exam will be held in two phases, namely;
Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, and
Paper 2 is conducted for candidates who want to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates have the option to choose one or apply for both papers. The questions in both papers will be objective Multiple Choice Questions. A minimum of 60 percent required for a candidate to score and qualify for the CTET 2023 exam. Best wishes.

There are some universities that may offer you admission in a Bachelor of Education course but as per the criteria of eligibility, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 50 percent marks secured in an aggregate manner. You belong to the General category which is why you can not apply for admission to the Bachelor of Education but if you had been in the Schedule Caste or Schedule Tribe category then you would have gotten a relaxation of 5 percent marks and must have gotten admission to the Bachelor of Education course. First and foremost, you need to understand that the vacancies are less in comparison to the number of candidates clearing UGC NET JRF every year. And more vacancies cannot be generated until or unless more institutions are constituted. Therefore, you will have to take it with a pinch of salt that clearing UGC NET JRF does not guarantee a job. It is not that you will sit idle after having a NET/JRF qualification or your hard work will go waste. Just understand that, when the Universities have a plethora of options to choose from then what is it that will make you stand out in the crowd? Nowadays only possessing a qualification does not REAP benefits, you need to possess some internal skills as well.
