No, the Technical Universty of Munich does not accept tuition fees in installments. Indian students would have to pay the tuition fees in full. It can be paid via bank transfer, using the TUMonline account. The Semester fees, however, can be paid in cash at the Bursar's Office on specific days.
For some continuing education courses, the university charges some extra fees.

Students can make sure they are admitted to the TUM campus grounds by being informed about the admission procedure, academic and examination regulations as well as the aptitude assessment. Make sure the application is submitted timely and that your academic record checks out to be eligible for course of choice. Students would need to have INR 12.6 L in their blocked account to be eligible for a student visa in Germany. This is needed to prove you have enough money to fund your studies in Germany. The application fees for a German student visa is INR 8 K. Health Insurance is also mandatory in Germany. For that, INR 10.6 K-INR 15.9 K are needed.

TUM is very similar to MIT USA in certain aspects. It has a world-class research environment, as does MIT. It gives just as much importance to STEM courses and Innovation as MIT. It does not have the same level of reputation as MIT does, but, it is far more affordable than the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It also has a marginally better acceptance rate (8%), than MIT US (4.5%).

It can be extremely hard for international students to be a part of the Technical University of Munich admissions as the acceptance rate is only 8%. Meaning out of every 100 applications, 8 applicants were given admission.
To be admitted, international students are not just required to have a good profile but an extraordinary one. With really good grades, extracurriculars and all.
