Although there are a lot of sources available online to prepare for the GMAT exam, however, candidates can access free GMAT practice tests on the GMAC site (mba.com). They need to download the GMAT prep software and create an account and get GMAT practice tests. Make sure that you solve the practice tests provided by the GMAC. These will provide you with a near real-time feel of the GMAT and will help you gauge the level of your preparation. Once you complete a GMAT mock test, it is essential for you to analyse your performance in that GMAT practice test. You need to work on your weak areas based on your mock test analyses.

Following documents are required on the GMAT exam day:
- A valid passport
- Aadhaar card is accepted only for the online GMAT test appointment
- Appointment confirmation email or letter
Apart from this, make sure you know the names of the 5 schools where you want to send your GMAT scores after the test. Before deciding on the B-schools, make sure to do enough research so that on the test day you are not confused about where to send your scores. You may go through the placements, location, career services, course structure, etc. in order to make a decision.

GMAT exam preparation typically takes about 3-6 months. If you have studied well during this duration, given sufficient number of mock tests, and revised your notes, you need not study just before the exam at the GMAT test centre. It is important for you to focus on the GMAT exam. Rather than shuffling through your notes at the last moment, it is advisable that you take your time to calm your nerves down. For the next few hours, your focus must be to ace the exam. Have faith that whatever you have studies so far was sufficient for you to score well on the GMAT.

Students must be aware of what all they can bring and what all is not allowed at a GMAT test centre. Students are not allowed to bring food, drink, and candy with them (unless these have been approved in the GMAT testing accommodation). In addition to these, students cannot bring firearms, knives, or any other weapon-like object. Students are allowed to bring a valid identity document, an appointment confirmation letter or email (received from Pearson VUE), eyeglasses, light sweater or light non-outerwear jacket, and any other comfort item (only if they have been approved in the GMAT testing accommodation).

10 days is too short a time to prepare for the GMAT test. One needs to develop quant and verbal skills along with analytical skills to score a decent GMAT score and one needs to prepare for at least 3-4 months to acquire these skills. That being said, if you are pressed for time and would still like to prepare for the GMAT in 10 days, you may go through the exam pattern and the exam syllabus first. You can then memorize all the formulae and understand the concepts. If possible, try to solve the GMAT OG and appear for at least 4 full-length GMAT mock tests. Students must note that the aforementioned advice is not a replacement for appro

If a candidate has booked a slot at the test center it cannot be rescheduled to a different mode for that attempt. Candidates need to book the GMAT online exam again to attempt the test online. When it comes to GMAT slot booking, we advise that candidates show caution. Before you decide your GMAT exam date, make sure to go through the different study abroad intakes, MBA or MIM admission deadlines, your current GMAT preparation level, time required to reach your desired GMAT score, time required to prepare your admission documents (SOP, LORs, Admission Essays, etc.), etc.
