The college faculty members and campus life are totally academic-friendly.

Placements: Due to the nature of the course opted, there is a lack of the placement cell for our department. The interdisciplinary nature of geography and the alternative path adopted by the students makes it hard to make a well-attained placement cell for the geography students of the Delhi School of Economics.

Infrastructure: The course is designed with a proper arrangement and needs of multi-discipline in geography. Moreover, it provides a conducive environment for both academic purposes as well as research. The college is well-equipped with lecture halls, seminar halls, Wi-Fi connectivity, a cafeteria, research equipment, GIS lab, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are masters in their own fields with a friendly nature with their students. They make it easy to understand the curriculum and exam pattern. Faculty members are advanced qualified with all the possible highly qualified degrees from India or abroad.

Masters in Geography from Delhi School of Economics.

Placements: From this department, direct placements are not guaranteed. If you attentively do the course, you will definitely get placements as an assistant professor and research scholar. You can pursue B.Ed afterward and get assured placements. The environment is so encouraging it also prepares you for tricky competitive exam interviews.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel on the college campus but around the campus students easily get affordable hostels that too in good condition. Hostel for women is also available. The department stays very clean although the building is old but never feels old.

Faculty: Faculty members are top-notch. Professors are gurus in their fields. Curriculum is competitive and the exam structure is perfectly distributed in 4 semesters. The course starts in September - October. Each semester is 6 months. In both years we also go on a department trip usually depending on the subject that you choose.

Best college/department for higher PG studies in geography .

Placements: In our specific course geography there are no direct placements but in these field student or scholar placed in various famous authorities and world level union related to geography or environment studies, our college offered various internship in field of Geographical research like in himalayas etc.

Infrastructure: There are excellent facilities and infrastructure For our course like our classrooms are in well and good condition. Wi-Fi service available in our classroom and internet service is good. Labs are also available for research in our department. Library facility is also available in our college and library is full with lot of course books. Hostel are also available and all necessary facilities like mess canteen is excellent and medical facilities is also available. There are a separate department for medical and sports.

Faculty: All the teachers are well educated, knowledgeable and well qualified. Teachers behaviour is excellent with student and teaching quality is also excellent. Our course develop good quality and knowledge about their field and its helpful for their growth. Exam pattern of our college is excellent and pass percentage is according to papers difficult and minimum 33% marks are necessary for passing .

Other: In our department all facilities are available and that's why am choose this department for study because our course needs many requirements like labs, internships. One best thing is that our college teachers are so dedicated for their teaching. Many fest and events are conducted time to time and various scholarships provided to need students.
