Hi,
Admission into Sastra University is based on your JEE and your 12th board marks combined.
A merit list based on the combination of the both the mentioned marks. If your AIR is anywhere between 500 to 800, you'll be able to get into the mechanical branch.
All the best!

Hello,
That's a good score. You'll get a seat for sure. It can be In aerospace or it can be any other course.
I would recommend you to take up any course and then slide to aerospace after the end of one year (this is possible only if you have a GPA of 9).
Hope this helps.
All the best.

There are actually no separate seats for Brahmin students but there will be some preferences for Brahmin students in SASTRA University. Say, if a student is from other state and a Brahmin student from the same state have the same marks, then the Brahmin student may be given the first preference. But it is not in all cases.
Your marks decide your admission, even if you are a Brahmin student.

Hi,
As per your marks you have good chances to get electronics and communication engineering (ECE) at SASTRA University. It also depends on the no. of applicants and the no. of seats available. So you need to wait till June 10th to see your rank.
But there are good chances for you to get ECE.

Hi,
SASTRA University, Thanjavur is better than UPES, Dehradun. SASTRA University is also ranked one among the top private universities in India. It is also better for placements and many international companies like Microsoft, come for placements every year.
It is also less expensive than UPES Dehradun.
So, you can prefer SASTRA University. The last date to apply is June 10th and you can apply at www.sastra.edu.

Yes, you can get a seat for EEE with this score. As your percentage is 92.66% you have good chances for getting a seat. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then your chances will be more. Even if you have not qualified in JEE main you can enter the scores.
If you have not appeared for JEE then apply under stream 2. If you belong to Thanjavur then by home state quota you will have good chances to get. But if you are from other state then you may or may not get EEE but you can have a seat.
The last date is June 10th and they will release the rank list so you may check your probability.

Hello janani!
You can get a seat at Sastra University. But your chances for getting computer science engineering or it is a little low. So that you may or may not get as your percentile is comparatively low. But, you can get the other courses.
Your percentile will be 88.66(0.75) + 50(0.25) =78.995 which will be 80. On this basis you will be placed on a rank.
Apply under stream 1 at www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10.
All the best!

Hello Sanjay!
You have low chances only as your percentage will be around 85-90. Under stream 2 many candidates with percentage above 90 & 95% appear. So, your chances are low.
All the best!
