Candidates willing to pursue a BCom at SASTRA University must start with the online application process. The process is conducted on the university's official website. As per the official website, 2265 seats are available across all 32 BTech specialisations. These specialisations include Aerospace Engineering, CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence and Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, among others. Other than these courses, SASTRA University also offers two specialisations under 5-year integrated M.Tech programme, namely Biotechnology and Medical Nanotechnology. Admission to BTech is possible at SASTRA Deemed University via two methods:
- 50% of the seats are filled based on JEE Main scores and normalised marks of Class 12. JEE Main scores and Class 12 scores are given equal weightage.
- Only Class 12 scores are required for admission to 50% of the remaining seats.
Candidate should have passed Class 12 with Maths Physics and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology as their subjects from any recognised Board with a minimum aggregate of 60%. The total course fee for the BTech course ranges between INR 4.7 lakhs to INR 7.7 lakhs. SASTRA University offers BTech across 23 specialisations along with integrated MTech across two specialisations. Spread over four years and eight semesters, admission to all these courses is subject to JEE Main scores for 70% of the seats and is subject to Class 12 scores for the remaining 30% of the seats.

The NIRF Report for 2025 SASTRA University placements has been updated, according to which 2,154 students were successfully placed in various industry-leading names. Out of these, BTech graduates numbered at 1,621 with the median salary package being INR 7.60 LPA. Furthermore, 49 MTech graduates were placed with a median package of INR 5.50 LPA.

Yes, SASTRA University BTech fees include a one-time fee payable at the time of admission. The fee comprises a development fee of INR 10,000 and other charges of INR 7,000. These charges include the charges for personality development, sports, unit tests, marks verification, medical test, ID card, etc. In addition to this, candidates must pay the SASTRA University BTech tuition fee. The amount of the tuition fee payable during the entire course ranges between INR 50,000 and INR 7.7 Lakh. This fee is sourced from the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. SASTRA University MBA admission is based on a national-level entrance exams followed by a Personal Interview (PI) conducted by the university. Yes, SASTRA University offers a full-time Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) lasting three years. The university offers a BCom (General) and a BCom in two specialisations, namely Banking, Financial Services & Insurance and Computer Applications. Further, the university also offers an online BCom course. Admission to the programme is subject to fulfiment of the preset eligibility and selection criteria. The average package offered at Sastra University placements 2025 is yet to be released on the official website. The median package offered to UG 3 year students of the batch 2024 was INR 3.8 LPA. For BTech and MTech, it was INR 7.6 and INR 5.5 LPA.

The application process of SASTRA University was conducted in both online and offline modes. However, starting the academic year 2022, the procedure has shifted completely to online mode. Aspirants seeking admission can visit the official website of the deemed university, apply online and pay the application fee. Further, they have to go through the selection rounds and counselling process and then confirm their seat on payment of the admission tuition fee. The application fee for SASTRA is INR 6,000.
The total tuition fee for BCA at SASTRA University's SRC campus ranges between INR 1.2 lakh-INR 1.8 lakh. This fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative.
