Which JEE Mains score January or April would be considered at the time of counselling for Thapar Institute?

If you have appeared for both Jan and April, best out of the two will be considered. This year however, Thapar has made two criterias available. 1) Based on your JEE score and 2) Based on your 12th class percentage (PCM OR PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 30% and 70% respectively. You can choose as per your suiting. The institute has just opened this application form.

Highest _: Around 9 l.PA
Avg -: 5-6 LPA

Hello,
Thapar Institute is one of the most well-known academic institution in whole of Northern India. It is known to excel in academic pursuits and has good faculty also. Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering is of course very well for study and subsequent placements also. I feel you should have no hesitation in selecting this branch while getting admission in TIET.

When you're getting admission in Thapar for such a great course, why go anywhere else? M.E. CAD/CAM Engineering in Thapar is pretty great, and comes with good faculty, good crowd, good curriculum and so on. This is what you really need to make it far ahead in life, especially in this stream. Don't overthink, with Thapar's placements and packages, you should only be choosing Thapar.

Hi Hartej, If you want to get CSE in BIT Mesra, then you need to have an AIR in between 4500 and 10000 in JEE Mains. For Thapar University, it should be between 10000 and 15000. All the best.
