There are many institutes who offer B.Tech but I will advise you to identify the best university. I heard a lot about Lovely Professional University. LPU bags the position of best placements in North India.
Ranking: LPU has been ranked 78th amongst all government and private universities by NIRF ranking released by MHRD, Government of India.
Placements: Thousands of LPU students have got placed in top MNCs and are working all over the Globe. The Highest Package Availed by Engineering (CSE) Student Ms. Tanya Arora is 42 LPA for batch 2020 by Microsoft. Students are placed in AMAZON at a package of 30.3 LPA. Rs. 24 LPA for B.Tech/M.Tech

Like most of the engineering colleges, there are two criteria for getting admission in Thapar Institute, Patiala. One is on the basis of your JEE score and the other one is on the basis of your 12th class percentage (PCM or PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 70% and 30% respectively. So keeping the previous year of trends in consideration, you can get Electrical, Mech, Mech(P), ECE, Civil and CSE (Derabassi campus).
