If you are getting CSE in Thapar Institute Of Engineering and Technology, then go and grab the opportunity blindly, because if you loose this chance then it will ne really bad for you. TIET is much better than Chandigarh University. I'm not saying that CU is not good but if you compare both universities, then Thapar Institute will be far ahead than Chandigarh University. Placements depend on your interest. They give 100 percentage of placements but the salary and area of work do not match the requirements. So don't go on the paper record.
