The authorities concerned will announce the list of participating institutes of TNEA 2018 for candidates who are aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate engineering programmes but VIT university does not come under the participating institute of TNEA so it is not possible. Yes, you can appear for TNEA. As you have completed your HSC from other state, you may have to apply under other state quota. You can get admission based on your board exam marks and there is no entrance exam.
