From few years, TNEA is filling its seats via class 12th marks, there is no entrance examination from quite a few years. To get information regarding its eligibilty criteria, kindly have a look over TNEA's official website.

Hi Narendhar,
Yes, you can apply for TNEA 2017 single window counselling under Anna University.
You can refer the website www.annauniv.edu for further details. You can apply through other state quota and the forms are available now.
I think the applications for other state quota will be released later.

Hi,
Yes, you can apply for TNEA 2017 through the other state quota.
The official website for the single window counselling at Anna University is www.annauniv.edu. The applications are opened. The last date for filling the form is May 31 and for submission is June 3rd.
Your marks determine your admissions and those in other state quota will be probably called only after those who apply from Tamil Nadu.
So you need to score really more. I think you have medium chances only.

Anna University conducts Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) to offer admissions to candidates in various engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu.
General candidates are eligible to apply for TNEA if they have cleared their HSC (academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average 50% and above percentage in mathematics, physics and chemistry.

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) was conducted by Anna University previously. But, from the few years, there will be no entrance exam for admission in various engineering colleges.The candidates will get the admission on the basis of their class XII percentage.The candidates who are meeting the eligibility criteria will be eligible for the undergraduate courses offered by the various engineering colleges of Tamil Nadu. TNEA 2017 admission schedule has been released.
