The first mark in each subjects is taken as 100%. If the person scores first mark 97/100 in physics. Then marks are normalized to 97. So the percentage of person scoring 90, will have a percentage (90/97)*100. CUTOFF/200 = MATHS + 0.5 * PHYSICS + 0.5 * CHEMISTRY.

The authorities concerned will announce the list of participating institutes of TNEA 2018 for candidates who are aspiring to take admission in the undergraduate engineering programmes but VIT university does not come under the participating institute of TNEA so it is not possible. Predict engineering colleges you can get on the basis of your JEE Rank: https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor?utm_source=cconnect&utm_medium=CR_JEECP&utm_campaign=8321427.

Hello Sujana,
Yes, you can appear for TNEA. As you have completed your HSC from other state, you may have to apply under other state quota. You can get admission based on your board exam marks and there is no entrance exam.
