Since TNEA is only used for engineering admissions in colleges connected to Anna University in Tamil Nadu, results from it are normally not applicable for admission to IMU Kochi.

Exams administered by the Indian Maritime University itself, such as the IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET), are typically the basis for admission to programmes offered by IMU Kochi, including the B.Tech in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering, etc.

Yes, SRM TRP Engineering College accepts the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counseling process to admit students to its engineering disciplines. The college's TNEA cutoff for 2023 has been made available for a variety of BTech disciplines, indicating that it is involved in the TNEA counseling process. Anna University, Chennai, manages the centralized online counseling procedure for admission to engineering and technology degrees in Tamil Nadu. As a result, TNEA is necessary for admission to SRM TRP Engineering College's engineering programs.
