The counselling will be done in four rounds including choice filling, allotment, confirmation of allotment and reporting to college. The selected candidates will have to fill the choices of college and branches based on their preferences. After filling the preferences, candidates have to pay the counselling fee. There will be an extra round for special catagory and reservation students. The TNEA cutoff will be released on August 2024. Students who have scored aggregate marks between 142 and 176.99 are eligible for the TNEA Counselling 2024.

TNEA scores are generally related with B.Tech admissions rather than MBA programmes. MBA admissions often need a valid CAT, MAT, or other comparable entrance test score, in addition to particular qualifying criteria and application procedures.  MBA admissions often require a valid CAT, MAT, or other entrance exam score. SSN College of Engineering accepts TNEA scores for admission to the B.E. / B.Tech courses. TNEA cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 1 of the Seat Allotment Result. As per the SSN College of Engineering BTech cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank for BE ranged between 409 and 9075 for the General All India category candidates. The minimum cutoff marks was for CSE i.e 409.

TNEA is online counseling based on 12th marks for admission in UG Engineering courses conducted by Anna University. So you can join Anna University without writing TNEA but after participation in counselling.
