Cheran College of Engineering Karur accept TNEA score for BE course admissions. There is no information regarding diret or merit-based admissions. Candidates can get in touch with the college authorities to get more details around the same.

The institution follows the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) conducted by Anna University for undergraduate engineering programs. If you attend your classes regularly, it is not difficult to score above 75% in every semester. The difficult part is, however, to attend classes regularly when you are in Kolkata.As tough as it is to get 75% in class I or class II or class XII or your diploma, every level is difficult it's upto you how you take it.Getting 75% marks in semester exam of IMU is quite easy. Different cources at this Institute have different eligibility criterias.Apart from TNEA you should have passed your 12 with 50 or 40 percent in some of the cases. If you are pursuing PG cources like MTech, You need to have a bachelor's degree on your specific feild from a recognised university. Also in engineering feild, exams like JEE advance is also accepted. Medical cources needs exams like NEET to be qualified. So the final answer is apart from TNEA you need to have passed your 12 th.

The counselling will be done in four rounds including choice filling, allotment, confirmation of allotment and reporting to college. The selected candidates will have to fill the choices of college and branches based on their preferences. After filling the preferences, candidates have to pay the counselling fee. There will be an extra round for special catagory and reservation students. The TNEA cutoff will be released on August 2024. Students who have scored aggregate marks between 142 and 176.99 are eligible for the TNEA Counselling 2024.
