The application process for Transportation Engg. courses mostly take place in the online mode so that maximum number of students can apply for admission from the comfort of their homes without having to travel and waste their money and time. The colleges release the application forms online or activate the registration links on their portals where students can apply by uploading the necessary documents.
Having said that, a few colleges might still follow the traditional practice of offline form filling at the college admission window. So, you should always check the same on the college website to ensure a smooth application process.

Here's the general list of documents that are needed for admission to Transportation Engineering courses at Indian colleges:
· Graduation Mark Sheet with at least 55% marks (for PG courses)
· Class 12 Mark Sheet with 50 to 60% marks in PCM
· Entrance Exam Scorecard and Admit Card (if applicable)
· A Valid ID Proof like PAN, Aadhar, Passport, etc.

For studying UG courses in Transportation Engineering, you should meet the basic eligibility requirements that is getting at least 50 to 60% marks in the PCM subjects in Class 12. For PG courses, you should have at least 55% marks in BTech Civil Engineering or a related course. After that, you must give relevant entrance tests and get excellent marks in the same.

For UG Transportation Engg. courses, the time span is generally 4 years in India. For PG courses, you need to invest 2 years.
