The Trichy SRM Medical College is well known for its MBBS course. These facilities are available at the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Trichy:
1. AC-facilitated lecture halls, which can accommodate more than 150 students.
2. Smart boards, along with blackboards, to facilitate the modern way of teaching.
3. The labs here are well maintained, and the equipment is sterilized regularly to maintain hygiene.
4. The campus and hostels have Wi-Fi facilities during working days.
5. The hospital is multi-specialised, and cleanliness is well maintained.
6. There are separate hostels for boys and girls at SRM. Also, the MBBS hostel is separate from the paramedical hostel.
7. Each hostel room is adequately ventilated and has a capacity of two students. You can also get single rooms, but you have to pay a higher amount.
8. The mess food is very good, and non-vegetarian food is provided three times a week.
9. Sports facilities are great, and students can participate in intercollege competitions.
10. The canteen facility is also available on hospital premises at reasonable rates.
11. There are many events organized by seniors, such as the freshmen's day, cultural day, and sports meet. You need to clear the NEET UG exam to take admission in this college.

ELIGIBILITY
Passed B.C.A/B.Sc. in Computer Science/B.Sc. in Information Technology/B.Sc in Computer Technology/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent or a degree from a University recognized or certified by UGC/SRMIST/AIU
OR
Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. from a University recognized/certified by UGC/SRMIST/AIU with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or the graduation level.
A minimum percentage of marks/CGPA as prescribed by the SRMIST.
Notwithstanding the above, actual admissions will be based on the rules and regulations of the UGC/AICTE/any other competent authorities.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Fulfilling the eligibility criteria and Subject to the availability of seats at that point of time, Candidates will be called for counseling.
Upon selection of programme, tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counselling
Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate's admission.
