The PGPM batch of 2025 had 70% students with Engineering background 30% students with Non-Engineering background.

Fresher students were mostly hired in FMCG, BFSI, Operations and IT sectors during the placement drive 2025 at IIM Trichy. Experienced students were mostly placed in the IT sector.

The median package recorded in sectors such as BFSI, Consulting, IT, FMCG, Operations and HR was between 18 LPA and 20 LPA in 2025. The highest package of around 43 LPA was offered by IT and IT Services sector.

A total of 189 companies visited the campus during IIM Trichy PGPM placements 2025. During PGPM HR placements 2025, 40 companies visited.

In PGPM HR, most number of recruiters were from Consulting and Media sectors. In PGPM, IT and IT Services emerged as the top recruiting sector followed by BFSI and MPHL sectors.

The overall median stipend offered during IIM Trichy summer placements 2025 was around INR 1 lakh. There was 20% increase in the median stipend as compared with previous year.

In BFSI and FMCG domain, most number of students were placed during IIM Trichy summer placements 2025. Further, 150% increase in summer placement was recorded in Operations domains. With respect to recruiters participation, FMCG emerged as the top domain followed by Operations, IT, BFSI and Consulting.

The highest stipend offered in BFSI domain during IIM Trichy summer placements 2025 was INR 3.5 lakh. The median package received by students in this domain was around INR 1.3 lakh.

IIM Trichy has good summer placement record. More than 150 companies visited the campus during the summer placement drive 2025. The overall the highest stipend recorded during the summer placement drive 2025 was INR 3.5 lakh. The median stipend recorded was between INR 0.7 Lacs to 1.4 lakh.
