Hi,
Eligibility criteria to appear for NTA UGC NET 2019:
Candidate must have scored at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST, OBC- NCL, PwD) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from university recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. To be eligible for UGC NET 2019. Yes, you can appear. Thanks!

Hi,
As per the current UGC norms regarding the procedure and criteria for declaration of UGC NET Result, the top 15% candidates from each of the four reservation category (OBC, SC, ST, PWD, Transgenders) on the merit list with prescribed minimum marks will be declared as qualified for Assistant Professor.

In 3rd sem as well as in 4th sem. It depends on you but you can apply from 3rd sem onwards.

Have you pursued Masters from Andhra University, Waltair? If, yes then you can apply for UGC NET Exam as It is a UGC Approved University. Make sure you also meet the required eligibility criteria for the UGC NET Exam like education qualification and age norms. You must have secured minimum 55% aggregate marks in postgraduation to be eligible for NET Exam (5% relaxation is available for other than general category). Hello Sandhyarani Yadav,
Yes, an engineering graduate as well as post graduate student can appear for the NET examination that is now being conducted by NTA on behalf of UGC. There are of course other criteria like minimum marks scored in the graduation or the post graduation level as well as the age of the candidates. As per UGC NET information bulletin-2018, there is no need to CTET or any other courses for NET exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this Test.
