Have you pursued Masters from Andhra University, Waltair? If, yes then you can apply for UGC NET Exam as It is a UGC Approved University. Yes, an engineering graduate as well as post graduate student can appear for the NET examination that is now being conducted by NTA on behalf of UGC. There are of course other criteria like minimum marks scored in the graduation or the post graduation level as well as the age of the candidates. As per UGC NET information bulletin-2018, there is no need to CTET or any other courses for NET exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/persons with disability (PwD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
