UGC NET Exam is divided into two Papers I. e. Paper-1 and Paper-2. Paper-1 consist of 50 question for 100 marks with no negative marking. It is compulsory paper and common for all the aspirant. Paper-2 consist of 100 question for 200 marks with no negative marking. Yes, you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET exam. As per the rules candidates who have completed their post-graduation from the distance learning are also eligible to appear in the exam and IGNOU is also affiliated with the University Grand Commission (UGC) this also covered the other eligibility criteria. Yes, you are eligible to appear for UGC NET exam. But, as per the UGC guidelines, you have to complete your post-graduation within 3 years of time period, because if you qualify the exam and not qualified the exam within limited time, then in this case your certificate will be disqualified. NTA conducts the UGC NET twice in a year in a month of June and December. UGC NET follows the exam pattern as follows:
